Calvin Marty and the Sunken Ship are a Chicago-based independent band currently playing out on a regular basis and steadily building a frighteningly devoted fan base. They're also in the studio recording their upcoming EP The Dead Sea, slated for independent release in the next few months. Calvin's powerful voice and the band's flawless accompaniment make it easy to understand their instant and continued success. We're always proud to work with independent artists, and that's especially true in this case.

We regularly create original gig posters and handbills for the band, as well as t-shirts and other merchandise available for sale at their website and shows. We designed their website from the ground up, based on a few conversations with and sketches from Calvin, who self-updates the news and shows sections as well as managing the forums. We are in production on the artwork for their upcoming EP, and will continue to work with the band for as long as they'll have us. Some examples of our work for them are available below.
